gratitude towards the grassroots
coach who initially discovered her, Mr. Paul
Okwudili Nnakwe, also known as PALEPA.
In a video posted on her Instagram account last Friday, she
affectionately stated, “This is my father figure, PALE. Today, I want to
convey that I regard you as my father; you’ve been like a father to me since my
early days. You’re the one who guided me into the world of football. While I
possessed some skills, you provided the foundation that has shaped me into who
I am today.
“On this day, I wish to show my heartfelt appreciation.
I want you to understand that after the passing of my father, you’ve stepped in
as a second father figure. I’m profoundly grateful for everything you’ve
done.”
