Controversial Nigerian artist,
Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has
openly stated his
involvement in ritualistic practices. The declaration came during an interview
with Nigerian radio personality, Nedu Wazobia, as Portable shared, “I am
engaged in rituals, it’s true. I consider myself a ritualist.” The comprehensive
conversation will be broadcasted on Monday.
Additionally, on his Instagram
profile, Portable posted another video, proclaiming, “We pray for both
financial success and a dignified grace, just like Kanayo Kanayo. Prayer
remains the cornerstone of achievement… Engaging in rituals will lead to
demise; there’s no escaping the consequences. I am confidently admitting this.
We’re currently out in Asaba tonight.”
It’s worth noting that this isn’t
the initial instance where Portable has made such assertions. Despite
previously disavowing any affiliation with such practices, particularly when
confronted by law enforcement, Portable has regularly attracted negative
attention and controversies throughout his career.
