American R&B star Brandy has been confirmed as the first international act for Flytime’s House of R&B concert, scheduled to hold in Lagos on December 20, 2026.
Grammy-winning American singer Brandy is set to headline Flytime’s House of R&B concert in Lagos as part of the city’s annual Detty December festivities.
The concert is scheduled to take place at the Eko Convention Centre on December 20, 2026, with Brandy announced as the first international performer confirmed for the event.
The singer confirmed her participation in a video message in which she invited fans to attend the concert and encouraged them to follow Flytime’s House of R&B on Instagram for further announcements.
“I’ll be performing live at Flytime’s House of R&B on the 20th of December, 2026. Make sure to follow Flytime’s House of R&B on Instagram for more information on this. I need to see y’all there,” she said.
The organisers also announced the development on Instagram, describing Brandy as the first international act secured for the concert.
Her appearance is expected to add to the growing list of music and entertainment events planned for Lagos during the December festive season, popularly known as Detty December.
The annual celebration attracts music lovers, tourists and members of the Nigerian diaspora to the city for concerts, festivals and other entertainment activities.
Brandy, widely recognised for her contributions to contemporary R&B, is expected to be one of the notable international performers featured in Lagos during the 2026 festive season.
