Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has shared his reflections
on how infidelity took a
toll on his marriage with his estranged wife, Bunmi.
As we recall, the charismatic actor posted a heartfelt
message on his Instagram page, announcing that he and his wife had made the
difficult decision to part ways. He expressed that they chose this path for the
sake of a peaceful and happier future.
Amidst the discussions surrounding the end of their marriage,
an old video has resurfaced where Ninalowo openly discussed a period when he
had been unfaithful to his wife.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo,
Ninalowo admitted to a time in his life when he had strayed from his marital
vows, causing pain to his wife. He attributed this infidelity to a period when
he felt youthful and was consumed by his personal aspirations.
The actor confessed that during those years, he had been
emotionally distant from his family, dedicating his time and energy to chasing
his dreams. It was only when he realized that his wife had started to view him
as a stranger in their own home that he began to take stock of his actions and
seek to make amends.
Reflecting on this period, Ninalowo shared, “During
those years when I felt invincible and indulged in infidelity, breaking my
wife’s heart and neglecting my family for my ambitions, I failed to recognize
that she, too, was keeping her own account of our shared experiences.
Consequently, I became a person she no longer recognized. At a certain point, I
couldn’t even reach her on the phone. The woman I once had control over had
grown beyond my influence.”
