Arsenal F.C. Valued at €4.9bn, Ranked Fifth Most Valuable Club in Europe

Arsenal F.C. has recorded a major financial milestone after its enterprise value rose by 23 per cent to €4.9 billion, further cementing the club’s place among Europe’s football elite.

The latest figures, released by Football Benchmark, place the North London club fifth among Europe’s most valuable football institutions, moving Arsenal up two places in the continental rankings.

The valuation, based on financial results from the 2024/2025 season, does not yet include the commercial benefits expected from Arsenal’s 2025/2026 Premier League title-winning campaign.

The English champions are also preparing for a major European showdown against Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in the UEFA Champions League final scheduled for May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna.

According to the report, Arsenal’s €4.9 billion valuation places the club just behind Manchester United F.C., valued at €5.1 billion, while narrowing the financial gap with Europe’s traditional heavyweights.

The rankings showed that Real Madrid CF remains Europe’s most valuable football club, with an enterprise value of €7.7 billion, ahead of FC Barcelona at €5.9 billion.

Football Benchmark attributed Arsenal’s financial growth to increased commercial revenue, improved income streams, and a €246 million rise in squad value.

The report noted that Arsenal’s enterprise value has nearly tripled over the last decade, reflecting strong revenue expansion and disciplined financial management under the ownership of American businessman Stan Kroenke.

Arsenal’s financial rise has coincided with a sustained improvement on the pitch. After finishing runners-up in several recent Premier League campaigns, the club secured its first league title in 22 years during the 2025/2026 season.

The triumph ended Arsenal’s long wait for a domestic crown since the famous 2003/2004 “Invincibles” campaign and strengthened the club’s commercial appeal globally.

Football Benchmark founder and chief executive Andrea Sartori said Arsenal had experienced remarkable growth in both revenue generation and squad value in recent years.

The report also highlighted the rapid growth of Paris Saint-Germain, whose valuation has risen sharply through backing from Qatar Sports Investments and Arctos Partners.

Despite operating with a smaller stadium capacity, PSG reportedly generates higher average matchday revenue per seat than Arsenal, reflecting the French club’s commercial efficiency.

Arsenal’s latest valuation surge underscores the growing link between sporting success and financial power, as the club continues its push to establish itself among the dominant forces in European football while pursuing a first-ever UEFA Champions League title.
