wonderful time celebrating her 44th birthday
with close friends despite her
absence on social media. The actress who currently resides in the US turned a
year older on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, and while she did not post any birthday
photos online like her colleagues, it did not stop her from enjoying her special
day with those close to her.
Naija News had earlier reported that some netizens were
yearning for Genevieve’s return to the screen after her colleague and friend,
Uche Jombo, celebrated her birthday online with a monochrome photo of the
actress with a heartwarming message attached. Fans of Genevieve also flooded
Uche’s comment section with birthday wishes for the beloved actress.

as she cuts her birthday cake while her loved ones cheered her on. Despite her
absence on social media, the actress appeared to be in high spirits, and her
friends ensured she had a memorable birthday celebration.
It can be recalled that Genevieve caused quite a stir on
social media last year after rumours surfaced that she was admitted to a
hospital in the US following an alleged mental health crisis after she went
completely silent on her 43rd birthday. The actress had deleted all her
Instagram photos and videos in May and unfollowed everyone on the social media
platform, leaving her fans worried about her well-being.
However, in November 2022, Genevieve returned to Instagram
with a stunning photo of herself dressed in a dark blue gown designed by
Tiffany Amber which she wore to the 2022 edition of Creative Africa Nexus
Weekend (CANEXWKND) held in Côte D’Ivoire. The actress spoke at the event and
later deleted the post, going quiet once again.
Regardless of her absence on social media, it is evident that
