Joseph Ogharandukun
popularly known as “Minister Joe” is a minister of God. He hails from Warri
South Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria and was born on the 25th
of February 1988. Minister Joe studied Business Management from the National
Open University of Nigeria 2011/2012 and recently released his debut album. In
this interview with Topflyers Magazine as Entertainer of the Month February
2021, he talks about his passion for music and the entertainment industry.

Tell
us about yourself?
My name is Joseph
Ogharandukun popularly known as “Minister Joe”. I am from Delta State, Warri
South and I was born on the 25th of February 1988. I studied
Business Management from the National Open University of Nigeria 2011/2012. I
am a Christian with the love of God for people.
How
do you see the entertainment industry in Nigeria?
The industry is very
big. One just needs to be connected to the right people at the right time and
as well give his or her very best to every project one is engaged in.
What
do you think makes a good entertainer?
I think what makes a
good entertainer is the ability to pass his or her message correctly to the
audience.
You
are an entertainer. Tell us about how the journey started?
The journey started
some years back in the city of Warri, Delta State. I also spent long time with
the Holy Spirit in prayers and singing. So that was how I started.
What
is your genre of music?
I am a gospel musician.
I adore and preach Christ through my songs.
You
launched your album on the 31st of January, what is the album about?
It is a vision God gave
to me. It is called “Extreme Worshippers” and we will be having a 3-month
Worshippers Academic Free Training Program. The Courses in Certificate include:

The venue for the
training is New Life Worship Centre, 14 Goodwill Street, Off College Road,

Why
did you venture into the music industry?
I love music. It is one
thing I have done from my teenage age.
Infact I have been singing in Churches and going for programs to
Minister in songs. It is what I am called to do.
Many
people have the opinion that only circular musicians get sufficient financial
output from music easily, do your agree with them?
Not really. Before now
it might be true but at present so many people are willing to support Gospel
musicians to see they have the very good life they dream about and to preach
Christ.
What
are your current challenges as regards your career?
Frankly speaking, One
of the challenges we are having is funding and support from individual bodies.
If we have funds, we will be able to train so many young passionate people that
want to attend the program.
Considering
the huge competition in the music industry, do you think you can survive the
competition?
Yes I can, because we
have a 3-month Worshippers Academic Program for every young passionate lover of
God and also it is for everyone that wants to develop the ability to sing.
Who
are your mentors?
My mentors are Psalmist
Jahmis Jakes, Pastor Victor Atenaga, Nathaniel Bassey and Elijah Oyelade. I
really appreciate them and their ministration.
Where
do you see yourself in the next five years?
I see myself globally
impacting the lives of young people all over the world and also help youth
discover their God given talents.
Should
your fans be expecting you to get married soon?
Wow! I will be coming
out soon with my new songs “Nothing Like You” and “Breath of Heaven”. Watch out
for it. As for Marriage, let’s keep our fingers crossed. (Laughs).

Whatsoever your hands
find to do, do it with a sense of value and you will have the best out of it.
