
In a recent development, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially advertised the sale of the Falcon 900B aircraft, a component of the presidential air fleet. The announcement, detailed in a flyer posted on the NAF’s X page late Monday, urges interested parties to participate in the bidding process for the aircraft.
The decision to sell the aircraft received approval from the Federal Government, as outlined in the flyer. It states, “The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the sale of Falcon 900B aircraft owned by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).” The notice complies with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
Prospective buyers can submit their bids either via email or physical submission. For email submissions, bids must be password-protected and sent to dproc@airforce.mil.ng, with the password forwarded separately to dproc2@airforce.mil.ng. In the case of physical submissions, quotations are to be sealed in an envelope, bearing the name, address, and description of the interested company/entity, along with the statement “DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 24 DECEMBER 2023.”
