The Minister of Sports Development, Sen. John Owan Enoh, has lauded the exceptional performance of the Super Eagles at the just-concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Cote d’Ivoire, stating that they have captured the hearts of Nigerians.
Enoh expressed his admiration for the team’s performance, which culminated in a silver medal, narrowly missing out on clinching the coveted trophy.
“As we conclude AFCON 2023, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the entire team for their remarkable journey,” stated the minister.
He commended the team’s unwavering dedication to success, which propelled them to the finals. “Your resilience has earned the admiration of the entire nation,” he added.
In recognition of their efforts, Enoh presented the team with well-deserved accolades, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to representing Nigeria until the final whistle.
