
Security measures have been significantly intensified at the Redeemer Christian Church of God, RCCG, Lion of Judah Parish in Isiokpi, as dignitaries, guests, and throngs of mourners converge for the burial of late Dr. Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and son Chizzy. The venue, located in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, serves as the focal point for the funeral service honoring the late billionaire and his family members.
Early arrivals at the ceremony include Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State and State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, who assumes the role of chief security officer for the event. Additionally, clergy members, traditional rulers from Wigwe’s hometown of Omoeke, and monarchs from Isiokpo are among the prominent figures present.
While scores of other dignitaries have also made their way to the venue, their identities are yet to be disclosed. Notably, a heavy deployment of security personnel has been implemented both within Isiokpo and its surrounding areas, underscoring the significance of maintaining order and safety during the solemn occasion.
