The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has shut down Donald’s Fast Food, owned by popular socialite Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chiefpriest, for ongoing noise pollution and environmental violations.
The fast food establishment, located on Adebayo Doherty Street in Lekki Phase 1, was sealed after repeated warnings and abatement notices were ignored. Despite being cautioned multiple times, the restaurant allegedly continued to operate in violation of the state’s environmental standards.
Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, confirmed the action on Sunday through his social media platform. Wahab stated, “After several warnings and abatement notices, LASEPA sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, over noise pollution and other environmental infractions.”
The closure is part of the state’s broader efforts to enforce compliance with environmental regulations, particularly in commercial establishments.
