Actress Nicole Eggert Reflects on Breast Augmentation Regret Amidst Cancer Battle

Hollywood actress Nicole Eggert, known for her roles in “Baywatch” and “Charles in Charge,” recently opened up about her regret over undergoing breast augmentation at the age of 18 while starring in the iconic TV show “Baywatch.” The 52-year-old actress, who recently disclosed her stage 2 cribriform carcinoma diagnosis, shared her perspective on cosmetic procedures in an interview published by People on Saturday.

Eggert expressed remorse about her decision to undergo breast augmentation at a young age, stating, “I look at all these younger girls doing it and think, ‘God, leave your bodies alone!’” She recounted the challenges of wearing the iconic red one-piece swimsuit for “Baywatch,” where the desire to enhance her appearance led to a decision she now views as a “stupid 18-year-old decision.”

The actress revealed that she was not mentally or physically prepared to wear revealing swimsuits daily for the show. At the time, she had no idea that she would be part of “Baywatch” and had initially expected to act in a spinoff series featuring high school students in Malibu.

Eggert has since undergone a series of breast augmentations, including a reduction documented on the E! show “Botched” in 2015. However, her recent health challenges have shifted the focus, as she faces surgery and potential chemotherapy for the painful lump in her left breast.

Acknowledging the gravity of her situation, Eggert admitted to frequent moments of panic, knowing that the cancer is growing inside her. The prospect of leaving her two daughters, Dilyn (25) and Keegan (12), adds to the emotional weight of her battle.

As Eggert prepares for the upcoming medical treatments, a close friend, Mindy Molinary, has launched a GoFundMe page to support her during this difficult time. Molinary emphasized the financial strain of Eggert’s medical bills and the actress’s inability to work during surgery and treatments.

On the fundraising platform, Molinary wrote, “[Eggert] is tenacious and has always found a way to get by, but this is different. She will be unable to work while undergoing surgery and treatments. She has a long, scary road ahead, and has a terrible time asking for help. I implore you to help my friend afford her medical bills as well as feel secure that she won’t be left without a home for her family during this extremely trying time.”
