The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has raised significant concerns regarding the academic records of President Bola Tinubu. Atiku conveyed his apprehensions through his Media Aide, Paul Ibe, who implied that President Tinubu may be harboring undisclosed information about his academic history, particularly concerning Chicago State University.
In a statement released today, Atiku’s Media Aide, Paul Ibe, expressed these concerns, stating, “It should be now obvious even to the blind that Tinubu is hiding something in his records at Chicago State University, and even elsewhere. I do hope whatever it may be, it will not be of a scope that will give Nigerians a heart attack. Nigerians will soon see the true position of Atiku on the records of Tinubu at CSU. It is just a matter of time.”
These remarks from Atiku’s camp came in response to a legal motion initiated by President Tinubu, which contests an order from the Northern District of Illinois. This order mandates Chicago State University to release President Tinubu’s academic records within a strict two-day timeframe.
The public’s interest in the academic background of President Tinubu has escalated in recent weeks, with many speculating about the contents of his records and the potential impact it could have on his political career.
President Tinubu’s legal move to contest the release of his academic records has only added fuel to the fire, leading to heightened curiosity and political debate across the nation. As the legal battle unfolds, Nigerians eagerly await more information on the matter, which has now become a topic of national significance.
