In a startling proclamation, Prophet Dr. Josiah Onuoha, the General Overseer of Christ Foundation Miracle International Chapel, has declared that the rise to power and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was not the result of human capability but a divine orchestration by God. This revelation came to light in a statement made available to journalists.
Prophet Onuoha asserted that the prophecy and vision concerning President Tinubu’s political destiny were unveiled to him on October 1st. According to him, Tinubu received the prophecy of his presidency during his youth, between the ages of 19 and 25 when he had no inkling of a political career.
“In all candor, what I am about to say may not sit well with some individuals, and even for me, uttering these words may not be advantageous. However, it is beyond my control because it is an unadulterated truth from God. When the foundation is divinely established, there is little man can do to alter its course,” Prophet Onuoha stated.
“On the first day of October, while I was in communion with God, He revealed to me the man known as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and began to unveil his destiny to me. Tinubu’s ascendancy to the presidency of Nigeria was not driven by his wealth, propaganda, or human capability; it was predetermined and ordained by God when he was between 19 and 25 years old. Numerous spiritual leaders conveyed this message to him during that time,” he continued.
The statement emphasized that Tinubu initially harbored doubts about entering the political arena, and even when the idea of becoming the Governor of Lagos State emerged, he was skeptical. However, a persuasive friend convinced him to contest, and he triumphed. It was at this juncture that he began to have faith that all the prophecies regarding his political journey would come to pass.
“When the presidential election took place, he swiftly received the Certificate of Return from the Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) as the President. All of these occurrences are the result of divine intervention. The essence of this message is to encourage Nigerians to redirect their praises from humans to God. The events unfolding today are under divine control. As the Bible states, the things of the spirit may appear foolish to the unspiritual,” the statement read.
Prophet Onuoha went on to challenge anyone, including Tinubu, to publicly dispute his claims if they believed he was speaking falsehoods, affirming that he was merely a messenger delivering God’s message to Nigerians.
Moreover, he urged President Tinubu to remain focused and effective in the face of potential distractions aimed at undermining his administration. He advised Tinubu to return to God and uphold certain principles, including having a clear plan, open and honest communication, and accountability for his actions.
The prophet stated, “All the challenges Tinubu faces will subside; only God can have any say or influence over his destiny. God has kept His promise in Tinubu’s life, and whatever adversity he faces is of human origin, not God’s. God appointed Saul as king, and Saul’s own actions led to his downfall. God is faithful.”
When asked about the way forward in the pursuit of justice and a better Nigeria, Prophet Onuoha conveyed a message from God, stating that those seeking justice should acknowledge their past actions and make amends. This includes compensating the families of innocent people who suffered, both living and deceased.
He concluded by expressing his belief in a new Nigeria and asserted that it was an inevitability. “Politics is influenced by strategy and numbers, but it also demands an examination of motives and a prioritization of the nation’s welfare above all else. In the face of political complexities, vigilance and discernment are essential. I have faith that God may provide a different understanding for a new Nigeria, and it will come to fruition,” he assured.
