In an announcement on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, @davido, the Grammy-nominated artist teased the release with the caption, “Midnight we feast,” shortly before unveiling the track.
‘Be There Still’ boasts an exceptional production team, with Marvey Muzique, DJ Maphorisa, and Black Culture lending their expertise. The track’s seamless mixing was handled by renowned sound engineer D-RO.
The release of ‘Be There Still’ serves as a prelude to Davido’s highly anticipated album, ‘5IVE,’ slated to drop on April 18. The artist had previously teased fans with two singles from the album: ‘Funds,’ featuring the raw energy of Odumodublvck and the soulful vocals of Chike, and ‘Awuke,’ featuring the talents of YG Marley.
