Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal are refusing to take no for an answer in their pursuit of Nigerian star striker Victor Osimhen, with reports confirming that the club is preparing a new and improved transfer offer for the Napoli forward after he rejected their previous bid just 10 days ago.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed the development on Monday, stating that Al Hilal remains “insistent” and are eager to secure the services of the Super Eagles star ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
“Al Hilal are not giving up on Victor Osimhen as they want to submit [a] new proposal to the player. Osimhen rejected [them] 10 days ago but Al Hilal insist,” Romano shared via his official social media account.
Despite Osimhen’s initial dismissal of the move, the Saudi Pro League side—backed by deep financial resources and a growing roster of global football talent—is determined to make an irresistible offer to lure the 25-year-old forward from Italy.
Osimhen, who had a prolific season with Napoli and remains under contract with the Serie A side, continues to attract intense interest across Europe. Turkish champions Galatasaray are also keeping tabs, while unnamed Premier League clubs and Juventus have reportedly reignited negotiations in recent days.
The Nigerian international has been one of the hottest properties in world football, following standout performances both at club and international level. His physical dominance, clinical finishing, and relentless work rate have made him a top priority target for clubs seeking a dynamic frontman.
Although Osimhen has expressed a preference to continue competing at the highest level in Europe, Al Hilal are banking on a financial package and long-term vision that could rival the pull of the UEFA Champions League.
As speculation continues to build, the coming weeks will be crucial in determining whether Osimhen will remain in Europe, make the lucrative switch to the Middle East, or consider other emerging options in a rapidly shifting transfer market.
