
In a recent development, the Lagos State Police Command has issued an update on the ongoing autopsy examination of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, who tragically passed away on September 12, 2023. The announcement was made by the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin.
Hundeyin revealed that the autopsy was conducted by the most skilled forensic pathologists in the nation. This effort was carried out with the full cooperation of the deceased singer’s family, who were present during the procedure.
In an official statement posted on his X account, Hundeyin conveyed the following message: “As promised by the Commissioner of Police, the autopsy was promptly performed by some of the country’s top forensic pathologists, in the presence of the late singer’s family members. While we await the results, we encourage everyone to maintain composure and trust in the process. There is absolutely no evidence of any wrongdoing, as some concerned individuals had feared. In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing smoothly.”
The untimely demise of the 27-year-old music sensation, Mohbad, has sparked widespread reactions and speculations. Various Nigerians have raised allegations against his former boss, Naira Marley, and music promoter Sam Larry, accusing them of being responsible for his death. It’s worth noting that both Naira Marley and Sam Larry have vehemently denied any involvement in the tragic incident.
