Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on
commerce Hon.
Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo declares his intention
to run for the vacant
post of the Federal House of Representative in
Ifako Ijaye Federal
Constituency on the platform of the All
Progressives Congress.
The foremost politician, former council boss,
grassroots mobilizer,
philanthropist and the ATM of Ojokoro LCDA as he
his fondly called by
his supporters.
Made his intention known at his birthday party
which was well attended
by community leaders, All Progressives Congress
party faithful and
youth groups from both Ifako and Ojokoro Local
Council Areas.
The party which gives room to friends and
political associates of Hon.
Olabinjo to bear their minds on the good
leadership qualities the
celebrant possesses. Alhaja Balogun Faaji
said “Hon. Olabinjo is a
free politician as his door is always open to
accommodate suggestions
and contributions as he speaks his mind and never
have anybody in mind
for evil or whatsoever. His kind of politician is
rear and I pray God
will continue to protect him and his family.”
A former Union Leader who is a close ally of the
celebrant also speaks
about the early life of Hon. Olabinjo who he
described as a dogged
fighter and a goal getter.
The celebrant, Hon. Benjamin Olabinjo in his
remark appreciate the
people for honouring his invitation to celebrate
his special day
“people gathered here are grassroots politician,
community and
religious leaders, it is an attestation to the
fact that am part of
you and we all know ourselves, I pray good days
like this will come to
everyone and I want to use this medium to request
for something from
all of here as I want you to honour me with it, I
am declaring my
intention to contest for the vacant seat of Ifako
Ijaye House Of
Representative, as I will be glad if my request is
granted as a gift
for my joyous day.”
“I’ve been with you and you all know am capable
and responsible,
together we can take Ifako Ijaye and Ojokoro to an
enviable height.”
Olabinjo concluded.
The high point of the event was the cutting of the
beautiful birthday
cakes which were specially decorated, presentation
of birthday gifts
and cards from the office of the Executive
Governor of Lagos State Mr.
Akinwunmi Ambode FCA.
Dignitaries from both Ifako Ijaye Local Government
and Ojokoro Local
Council Development Area graced the occasion.
