The
wife of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, May, has taken legal action by filing for
divorce and seeking ₦100 million in damages from Judy Austin, who was allegedly
involved in an affair with her husband.
Despite
presenting themselves as a couple on social media, Yul and Judy were not
legally married. Earlier, the couple had experienced the tragic loss of their
first son, Kambilichukwu.
In
the wake of the loss, Yul took a break from social media to mourn his son’s
passing. However, when he returned, he made headlines with news of his alleged
new partner, Judy Austin.
May
contested that Judy and Yul cannot be recognized as a married couple since she
is still legally married to him. As a result, Judy is now facing a ₦100 million
lawsuit, seen as restitution for the damage done to May’s home and
relationship.
