The Federal Government says it is set to immediately commence the rehabilitation of failed portions of the Lagos-Sango-Abeokuta federal highway. The Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, announced this on Tuesday during a teleconference between the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun and the minister’s team. Three herders have been killed in what could be a reprisal attack by unidentified persons who stormed Ribok, Tsoriyang and Kankada General Area of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State. At least five people have been killed and nine houses burnt as gunmen attacked Madamai village in Kagoro Chiefdom, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Three vehicles were also burnt while one was vandalised during the attack which occurred on Sunday. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and stakeholders are to meet to decide the minimum admission cut-off mark for the 2021/2022 academic session. According to the Weekly Bulletin of the Board obtained in Abuja on Sunday, the meeting which is scheduled for August 31 would be presided over by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu.
