The upper chamber of the National Assembly has begun an investigation into the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) over irregularities in the award of the N7.5 billion contract. Authorities in the Army on Thursday said that six soldiers were killed when troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force engaged Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists within the vicinity of Mallam Fatori town in the fringes of the Lake Chad region. At least one person has been killed and many others injured after gunmen attacked the ECWA Church at Gabaciwa village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday morning. Counsels to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, said they were “practically stripped naked” by officials of the Department of State Service during their visit to the IPOB leader.
