supporters of Bola Tinubu, who is
Nigeria’s president-elect. Guterman believes that those who praise the former
governor of Lagos should not expect him to bring any significant changes to the
country. He made these comments in response to the reactions he received from
Tinubu’s supporters after accusing him of being involved in narcotics
trafficking.
Guterman, who is a staunch supporter of Peter Obi,
emphasized that this issue was not about politics, but about what Nigeria can
gain in the next four years. He was disappointed with the response he received
from Tinubu’s supporters, who seemed to embrace their leader’s alleged criminal
activities.
In a tweet, Guterman expressed his frustration and called on
Tinubu’s supporters to have some self-respect. He warned them that Tinubu would
not be able to help them and would only continue to perpetuate the same
problems that Nigeria is currently facing.
