Dallas, Texas—**Edo Charles Entertainment, led by popular comedian Edo Charles, has officially introduced its newest artiste, Clarisse Labu, a Cameroonian-born inspirational singer and songwriter. The announcement came shortly after the highly successful 2024 edition of the “Enter D Lafta” show, hosted by Edo Charles in Dallas, Texas.
Clarisse Labu, who is based in the United States, brings a wealth of artistic talent to the entertainment company. Raised in a Christian household in Kumba, Cameroon, Labu developed a passion for music and the arts early in life. By the age of six, she was already performing at local birthday parties and school events. Throughout her education, she continued to hone her craft, participating in various musical and theatrical performances, as well as trade fairs during school breaks.
Labu’s versatility was recognized early on when she won the “Miss Maggi Caravan” cooking competition organized by Nestlé after completing her university studies in 2013. This victory opened doors beyond the music industry, and she soon began a career in television as a presenter on RTA TV, a local station in Yaoundé, Cameroon. In addition to her media career, Labu is also a fashion stylist, motivational speaker, and aspiring actress, showcasing her diverse talents.
In 2015, Labu relocated to the United States, where she spent the next eight years adapting to her new environment. Despite the challenges, her love for music never wavered, and she recently made her musical comeback with her debut single, “The Way.” This track signals her official return to the music industry, where she hopes to inspire others through her art and faith.
Clarisse Labu is currently working on a new inspirational project that is expected to captivate global audiences. With her dedication and multifaceted skills, Labu is set to make a significant mark in both the music and film industries as part of Edo Charles Entertainment’s growing roster of talent.
Her unveiling at the “Enter D Lafta” show has already generated excitement, and fans eagerly await what she has in store.
