Members
of Staff of Godsown Studio alongside winners, Face of Godsown Pageant 2020 on
Wednesday donated food items to Amadin Orphanage Home, 123 Lagos Street, Benin
City, Edo State.
According
to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Godsown Studio, Mr. Godsown Saturday, the
donation is part of the promises made at the onset of the 2020 Face of Godsown Pageant
which ended in November 2020.
In
the CEO’s words: “We promised our models that we would be visiting and donating
food items to the less privileged after the 2020 pageant and we have come to fulfill
it. We did not only give food items to orphans in Amadin Orphanage Home, we
also went to Holy Cross Cathedral, Mission Road, Benin City to distribute food
items to the less priviledged ones there.
“We
believe in being socially responsible, we believe we can help the world become
a better place, we believe in equity, justice, love and reaching out to the less
priviledged. So I thank God we have started it and I know it would continue in
Jesus name”.
Mr.
Saturday admonished members of the society to always give to people whenever
they can especially orphans, widows and the less priviledged. He avowed that
Godsown Studio through the Face of Godsown Pageant would continue to support
orphans.
On
her part, Miss Humanity, Face of Godsown Pageant 2020, Vivian Vunu while
addressing the orphans at Amadin Orphanage admonished the children to be
obedient, respectful and God fearing adding that Jesus is love and that the
only way to heaven is to live a holy life.
