Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen. Bassey Otu, is set to grace the sixth edition of the Yala Achievers Summit and Awards taking place in Calabar, the state capital, as the Special Guest of Honour.
With the theme “Celebrating Your Immense Contributions to Humanity and Promotion of Harmony in Our Communities,” the Summit aims to bring together influential sons and daughters of Cross River to brainstorm ways towards the state’s development.
Organized by Moj’s Entertainment Ltd, the event will feature Chief Hon. Dr. Ochim Julius Okputu, Former Commissioner for Works in Cross River State, as the Chairman of the Occasion.
The Commissioner for Education, Senator Barr. Stephen Odey Ph.D., will be the keynote speaker.
Guest speakers include the Commissioner for Housing in Cross River State, Hon. Dr. (Mrs.) Beatrice Igwe; former Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Cross River State, Hon. Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Oreme Odey-Ekpo; Former Chair, Nigeria Bar Association Calabar Branch, Dr. Paul Ebiala Esq, and many others.
Scheduled for Sunday, 28th July at 5:00 pm, the Yala Achievers Summit Awards will take place at Transcorp Hotel Calabar, the state capital.
The event will also feature other prominent sons and daughters of Cross River and will include a massive entertainment showcase and a display of the cultural heritage of the people.
