Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, and Nana Shettima, the wife of the Vice President, made a compassionate visit to the National Hospital in Abuja to see the ailing Nollywood actor, Mr. Zack Orji. Their visit was accompanied by other prominent figures, including Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development; Mrs. Rachael Umahi, wife of the Minister for Works; and Mrs. Bello Matawalle, wife of the Minister of State for Defence.
While the primary purpose of the First Lady’s visit was to celebrate the first baby of the year at the hospital, she also took out time to spend approximately 13 minutes with the veteran actor. Reports emerging from the hospital indicate a positive turn in Mr. Zack Orji’s health, attributed to the intervention of Kennedy-Ohanenye, who ensured he received the best medical attention available at the National Hospital.
“He has started talking. He is in stable condition. His wife is by his side. We really thank God for him,” stated Tayo Hastrup, the National Hospital Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Mr. Zack Orji was urgently taken to the National Hospital over the weekend following a reported collapse in his home toilet.
