Lagos, Nigeria – In a thrilling culmination of the latest season of Big Brother Naija’s ‘All-Stars’ edition, 22-year-old model Ilebaye Odiniya has emerged as the victor, walking away with the coveted N120 million grand prize. The announcement was made by the charismatic host, Ebuka, during a live broadcast on Sunday night, as millions of fans eagerly tuned in to discover the winner.
The ‘All-Stars’ season, which featured a star-studded cast of former housemates from various previous editions, began with twenty housemates and an additional four guest housemates. Ilebaye, who originally appeared on the ‘Level Up’ edition in 2022, stood out from the rest, securing her victory with an impressive 30.08% of the total votes cast.
Surprisingly, the 2019 Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke, took the honorable position of first runner-up, garnering 23.48% of the votes. The victory has now given Ilebaye a second chance at the prestigious Big Brother Naija crown, a feat she hopes to accomplish by showcasing her unique, friendly, fun-loving, and playful personality.
Reflecting on her journey, Ilebaye expressed gratitude for the support she received during her initial short-lived stint on the show. She quoted herself as saying, “Keep going, be strong, everything is going to be fine,” which evidently served as a source of motivation for her triumphant return.
As the newly crowned winner of season 8, Ilebaye Odiniya is set to enjoy a range of exciting prizes and rewards.
