Renowned Nollywood actress and producer of the hit movie ‘Oba Opor,’ Kayode Arameeday Oluwapelumi, has fearlessly embraced her single status and made it clear that she is actively searching for love. In a candid conversation with Potpourri, the voluptuous actress delved into her thoughts on relationships, love, and marriage.
Amidst the buzz surrounding her recent sensual scene with Ace actor, Ibrahim Yekini, also known as Itele, Kayode Arameeday Oluwapelumi spoke openly about her romantic journey.
“Wherever there is love, there is life. Also, wherever you can find a man and a woman, chances are that affection will surface, and marriage may take place. Thus, it is not strange that marriage occurs in the industry. It is a natural phenomenon,” she expressed.
Touching on the topic of breakups, the actress referenced the words of German Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, stating, “It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.” She emphasized that when friendship wanes, love becomes weary, and in such cases, a breakup or divorce might be a healthier choice than persisting in an unfulfilling marriage.
“One cannot choose the best for oneself; only God can. I believe in divine intervention as much as I believe in personal scrutiny. In as much as the supposed ‘Mr. Right’ meets up with some of the things I love, then he is the one. I won’t delete prayers from the choosing process,” she shared.
As she navigates the path of being single and searching, Kayode Arameeday Oluwapelumi outlined the essential traits she looks for in a potential partner. “Yes, I’m single and searching. Some of the traits he needs to have are solicitude, God-fearing, and he must be ambitious. In as much as he has respect for God and humans, we are good,” she concluded.
The actress’s openness and sincerity about her relationship status and criteria for a partner have resonated with fans, adding another layer of relatability to her already captivating persona. As Kayode Arameeday Oluwapelumi continues to make waves in the entertainment industry, her genuine approach to matters of the heart has endeared her to many.
